Park Street Christian Preschool (PSCP) is a non-profit community outreach ministry of Park Street Christian Church (PSCC). Park Street Christian Church is blessed with over a fifty year history at the corner of Cutler Lane in Charlottesville. Our doors opened August 1999 when the church recognized a community need for an all day Christian preschool.We are open Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM.

Size: Our capacity is 30 children.
Ratio: Our child to teacher ratio is 10:1
Ages: We care for children between the ages of 2.5-6
Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Staff: All of our staff members have classroom experience with preschool and/or elementary age children, and come to us with varying levels of education. You will receive a teacher credentials welcome letter when you enroll. We are committed to ongoing professional development and we achieve this through regularly attending early childhood education conferences and workshops annually. Our director and lead teachers are certified in first aid and CPR. The Director is certified in MAT and will administer medication as needed with the mandatory signed forms filled out by guardians.
Our Staff members are specially chosen for their warmth and caring deposition towards children. Our teachers love what they do and it shows. Our school has been awarded a level 3 with the Seal of Quality Child Care Program.
Facilities: Park Street Christian Preschool has three classrooms, one large playroom, and three restrooms (one is used during outside play time). Our outside area consists of a large fenced in shady playground with swings, climbing structures, slides, trikes, and picnic tables.
Food Services: Park Street Christian Preschool will provide a morning snack and afternoon snack. Lunch is provided from home.
Public Liability: PSCC carries liability insurance.
Licensing: PSCP is exempt from licensure with the Department of Social Services of the Commonwealth of Virginia. However, our school is regularly inspected for health and fire safety and must resubmit code of compliance paperwork annually through the licensing department. Our staff and all personnel directly associated with the preschool are subject to fingerprint criminal background screening by the Virginia State Police, Central Registry check, and an annual health screening.
